The most fundamental part of “the Variable Approach” is that the most likely answer can be figured out simply after counting and matching the number of Variables with the number of Equations from the original conditions. This means that conditions 1 and 2 do not need to be calculated each time to find the answer correctly. This easy-to-use approach can be applied up to 90% of all DS problems.

The IVY Approach is designed to provide "the most efficient tools to students to tackle and solve the most frequently appearing PS questions accurately" to achieve high math scores. This approach offers many effective methods such as ratio and percent problem solving methods which incorporate understandings of the relationships between numbers to solve problems.
